Gorse Clearing

Gorse can be a problem for farmers and land owners. Gorse presents a significant fire risk and can invade and cover land that would otherwise provide diversity for wildflowers and the insects which feed on them. If left unchecked It can cover ground quickly. It is difficult to and dangerous to remove by traditional methods. At GMCB Ltd, We use our fixed tooth remote control forestry mulcher to shred gorse to below ground level. SSSI works

GMCB Ltd provide service for a wide range of clients on SSSI (Sites of Special Scientific Interest) contracts. Our machines have low ground pressure rubber tracks which prevent damage to the surrounding environment and are approved to work in areas with rare species of wildlife or flora and fauna.

Forestry mulching

At GMCB Ltd, We carry out works using our fixed-tooth forestry mulchers which can reduce thick vegetation and trees to woodchip. This reduces the requirement for a team of tree surgeons carrying out dangerous operations in thick vegetation.
